Musée du Louvre

After spending half of the day in Versailles, we went to the most visited art museum in the world. We originally planned to go there on our first day but it was closed (blame it on my insufficient research) so we came back the following day. There are actually three wings in the Louvre but we only managed to go to one, which is the Denon Wing where the Mona Lisa is located. It was such a long day and we were so worn out even after just one wing, I guess you need to have a whole day if you want to have a look at all the exhibits. Unfortunately, I was not able to see Venus de Milo because it is on another wing. There is also an underground shopping mall in the Louvre where we had our dinner after such a tiring day. It is also in the mall where you can see the point where the two ends of the triangle meet as in the movie, Da Vinci Code, but it is a parking area beneath it contrary to popular belief that is where the Grail is buried.
