Beautiful Bude

Although this place is not as popular as St. Ives or Newquay, I would highly recommend it if you prefer a laid back holiday. Bude has it's own unique elements which makes it an ideal destination - beaches that are perfect for surfing, a pool close to the beach, magnificent views from it's cliffs (which I think is the highest point I've ever been), a canal, a castle, giant waves (which can be perfectly captured on camera) and lots of amenities for family fun activities like boating, mini-golf, etc. It has been known as the surfer's paradise and the beaches have once been described by Australian surfers as the "Bondi of Britain."  Too bad, the weather wasn't really that great when we were there but we really had a great time and we just couldn't get enough of the sceneries in Bude.
